TheFutureCats Innovation Consultancy, in collaboration with Social Dynamo, conducted three 8-hour online training sessions titled “NGOs AI Training” to Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) in Greece and Cyprus that have been selected to participate in the ‘Building a Robust and Democratic Civic Space’ (BUILD) programme.  BUILD is co-funded by the European Union through the Citizens, Equality, Rights, and Values (CERV) programme, and by the Bodossaki Foundation and NGO Support Centre Cyprus. This initiative aims to protect, promote and raise awareness of EU fundamental rights and values by supporting CSOs in Greece and Cyprus and increasing their capacity and sustainability. 

These sessions were designed by TheFutureCats to help civil society organizations understand and leverage artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance their operations, improve service delivery, and maximize social impact. The training covered practical AI applications, tailored to meet the unique needs of CSOs, enabling them to integrate new technologies into their everyday work.

To ensure the training was highly relevant, TheFutureCats conducted thorough research and an AI readiness assessment for the participating organizations. The responses informed the development and implementation of the training, ensuring it addressed the specific needs and challenges faced by the organizations.

The training empowered CSOs to adopt innovative AI solutions, improving their efficiency and effectiveness in addressing societal challenges. With TheFutureCats’ expertise in new technologies and AI, the training helped these organizations increase their capacity to drive positive social change.
