We explore how AI becomes traceable, accountable, and governed in regulated settings, so our methods stay ahead of the regulation.
WHY WE RESEARCH.
WHY WE RESEARCH.
WHY WE RESEARCH.
An applied research practice
TheFutureCats Advisory researches how AI is governed once it operates inside regulated work. We work on the same questions modern organizations face, before those answers have to be defended. What we learn feeds back into how we advise.
The governance questions around AI are still being settled. Standards shift, guidance is reinterpreted and the regulation keeps moving, so advice built on last year’s reading does not hold for long. Research is how we keep our positions current and stay clear about what is settled and what is still open.
RESEARCH FOCUS
The work spans connected directions, all aimed at the same problem: how AI is governed once it carries real consequences.
01.
Governed AI
How control, oversight and ownership are set into an AI system from the start.
02.
Traceability and auditability
How an AI system’s actions can be recorded, explained and reconstructed, leaving a clear account of what it did and why.
03.
Trustworthy AI
How reliability, fairness and safety hold up once AI moves from a controlled test into live work.
04.
RegTech
Where technology meets regulation and structured decision-making, and how the two work together.
05.
Trust
These directions track the frameworks our clients are held to, the EU AI Act, DORA, GDPR and ISO/IEC 42001.
06.
AI Training
How people inside an organization are equipped to work with AI responsibly, critically, and within the limits the governance requires.
