The team of TheFutureCats Innovation Consultancy brought a unique twist to this year’s Most Admired Companies Awards by Fortune Greece, leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools. They created an impressive AI installation featuring GenAI videos from the creative projects of the awarded companies, combined with the quality characteristics of the research in four forward-looking scenarios for Greece’s future. These scenarios showcased the positive influence of businesses and major trends, giving attendees a glimpse of an optimistic and sustainable future, inspired by the best practices of the winning companies.

One of the event’s standout moments was the speech by Dimitris Dimitriadis, Futurist and CIO of TheFutureCats Innovation Consultancy, at the Most Admired Companies Awards. He spoke about the role of AI and its limitless potential for the future.

Most Admired Companies 2024
At the 10th annual ‘Most Admired Companies’ (MAC) event hosted by Fortune Greece, the top companies in Greece are recognized and rewarded for their innovation, financial strength, social responsibility, management quality, and human resource practices.
The event, in collaboration with KPMG, gathers over 2,200 executives from 440 companies, who evaluate the companies based on nine criteria, including innovation, leadership, and corporate social responsibility. Companies that earn the ‘Most Admired Companies’ distinction enjoy not only prestige and recognition but also the trust of their customers strengthened relationships with investors, and enhanced ability to attract talent seeking a progressive work environment.
The 2024 Winner
At the 2024 ‘Most Admired Companies’ event, AEGEAN Airlines emerged as the winner. They were recognized for their outstanding performance, commitment to innovation, and dedication to social responsibility. AEGEAN stood out for its pioneering practices and adoption of cutting-edge technologies, contributing to sustainable development and societal well-being.
Top Honorees of the Last 10 Years
Over the past decade, the top spot for the most admired company has been awarded to leaders across various industries. AEGEAN Airlines, representing the services sector, achieved this honor in 2018, 2019, and again in 2024. Novartis, from the pharmaceutical industry, was the top company in 2015. The industrial sector’s Papastratos dominated the rankings in 2016 and then consistently from 2020 to 2023. Additionally, Sklavenitis, a major player in the retail industry, secured the top position in 2017.
