The Welcome Stores chain, in collaboration with TheFutureCats Innovation Consultancy, aimed to maximize awareness and customer engagement for the state-subsidized “Recycle – Change Appliance” program. The challenge was positioning Welcome Stores as a leading retailer among the top four in the electrical appliances sector, ensuring brand recall at critical decision-making moments for voucher redemption.

To achieve this, the campaign needed to inform the public about the program and drive visits to the dedicated landing page, increase foot traffic to 85 physical Welcome Stores locations, promote specific product offers with high-frequency messaging, and build strong brand awareness across multiple digital platforms.

TheFutureCats developed a comprehensive 360° digital campaign, integrating multiple digital advertising strategies to ensure maximum outreach and engagement. A multi-layered approach combined social media awareness campaigns, Google search and display ads, native ads placed in premium publications, and video and audio programmatic campaigns with precise targeting. Additionally, geolocation-based social campaigns were activated to increase store visits during the voucher redemption phase.

The campaign successfully positioned Welcome Stores among the top choices for consumers looking to redeem their vouchers, enhancing visibility and reinforcing its brand presence in a highly competitive market. As a recognition of its excellence, the project won a Silver Award at the Indie Awards 2023 in the Digital / Social Platforms category.
