Gender-based violence remains a pressing issue, leaving many women without safe access to essential information and support. Many women in abusive situations struggle to seek help due to fear, lack of resources, or the risk of exposure. Recognizing this challenge, the Greek Association of Women Entrepreneurs (S.E.G.E.) sought to create a digital platform that would provide women with the knowledge and tools to navigate their situation while maintaining complete privacy.
To address these concerns, S.E.G.E. partnered with TheFutureCats Innovation Consultancy to develop kamiamoni.gr, a digital platform designed to inform, support, and empower women while ensuring a fully anonymous and secure user experience.
TheFutureCats led the end-to-end development of kamiamoni.gr, creating a safe, informative, and accessible digital space tailored to the needs of abuse women. The website serves as a structured knowledge hub, offering clear guidance on the different types of gender-based violence, how it manifests, legal protections, and practical steps that victims can take. A key focus was ensuring that women could engage with the content safely, even if they were not ready to reach out for direct support.
To achieve this, we implemented a series of advanced privacy-focused features. A one-click “quick-exit” button allows users to leave the website instantly, redirecting them to a neutral page to avoid suspicion. Additionally, a carefully designed social media strategy ensured that awareness campaigns could be conducted effectively while keeping user privacy a priority.
Beyond the technical implementation, we also developed a comprehensive digital engagement strategy to raise awareness about the platform. A series of targeted social media campaigns and digital ads were launched to ensure that the platform reached those in need without drawing unwanted attention. Informative posts were published across S.E.G.E.’s official social media channels, sharing crucial insights on recognizing abuse and seeking help safely and anonymously.
With kamiamoni.gr, women now have a safe, easily accessible space to find support. The incognito communication tools provide a risk-free way to seek help, while targeted digital campaigns ensure widespread awareness. By combining technology with a survivor-first approach, TheFutureCats and S.E.G.E. are breaking barriers to safety and support, empowering victims to take control of their future. The initiative was recognized for its innovation, earning a Silver Award at the Indie Awards 2022.
