In collaboration with EventPlus, we organized the first “BrandStorm” innovation competition by L’Oréal Hellas in the Metaverse. The challenge was to create an engaging platform for participants to explore the essence of beauty through cutting-edge technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Virtual Reality (VR), and Augmented Reality (AR) within the immersive landscape of the Metaverse.
Recognizing the importance of a smooth digital transition, we developed a user-friendly and immersive experience within the spatial.io platform. This custom 3D virtual world featured an island with a virtual amphitheater for the competition. Participants created avatars using ReadyPlayer.me, enabling personalized interaction. The event was accessible via computer, mobile, or Oculus Quest VR headsets, and concluded with positive feedback from both judges and participants, highlighting the new opportunities offered by technology.
The project demonstrated L’Oréal’s commitment to innovation and sustainability in the digital age, enhancing participant engagement and trust.
